Dumb rocket question

Rockets everywhere, enable all the pylons, set to continuous, it will only fire the rockets from the outboard (1 & 9) set of pylons.  I have to disable that set, push the bomb release again, then it fires from the inboard (2 & 8 )set of pylons.  Disable those, it fires from the center.  I can't find a way to dump all rockets from all five pylons at once.

Me problem?  As intended and not a problem at all?

The thing is a bloody bomb truck.  Drives like one, too.  Smokes like one.  Sounds like one.  Gets about the same mileage.  Are we sure this is a jet?

I fully support your Lord of Destruction approach and I think I want to test this as it sounds terrifying.

So FFARs (19 per pod) on Stations 1, 2, 5, 8 and 9 for a total of 285 rockets and using operating procedures as:  https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/procedures/rockets.html?highlight=rockets#rockets ?

To hazard a guess, the pods firing from outer to inner seems to replicate that order of operation of other weapons, but I'm not sure that you would have to deselect the spent pods to make the subsequent pods active.  That said it may well be a safety feature which is designed to prevent, say a pilot releasing 285 rockets instantaneously.

EDIT:  So in continuous mode it will fully empty external pods first and then as you said Raisuli it then requires manual deselection of the spent stations to use the subsequent pods.

Oh, I'm not talking instant.  There's still that five hundredths of a second delay, and if it delays between each rocket it will still talmost 15 seconds to dump all 285.  Still not up to the standards of a mild forth of July in my (fireworks that leave the ground are illegal) area.

Easy way to test; air start, active pause, set up, F2 view, fire away.  Track on request.

Yeah i was being a little facetious re: instant of 200+ rockets in a hail of death.   I did test with the same parameters as you and yes it seems you have to manually deactivate those stations before being able to fire the next stations.  I tried that in continuous mode I'm going to see if other modes change that.

Ok Salvo mode does what you are looking for and it will launch from all pods, continuous won't, not sure if that is a design feature of that mode.

Edit: On the AWRU I had it set to salvo (S) and had the Interval in a normal mode, bomb depress then emptied all my pods.

Oh...that was fun...and it works for cluster bombs, too.

Yes it is, and that loadout is now saved for me as: Raisuli GIGO FOVe (wwagwdnef)*
