This feels like a bit of a bugger for co-operating with Apaches: If I wanna give them a waypoint to point their Hellfires at for buddy lasing, the actual coordinates are easy to say over the radio, but Kiowa seems to do waypoint elevation only in meters, while Apache wants feet.

Anyone aware of a way to get one or the other to switch units? I mean sure, the Apache's ground database will get close automatically, but still it'd be nice to at least have the ability. Or if I need the Apache to aim at the top floor or Burj Khalifa... 😃

I haven't, and also it'd ruin the whole thing since UTM is the reason the coords are so easy to share. Edit: Appreciate the suggestion tho!

Yeah, it’s a pity that you can only change between UTM with Metrics or Lat/long with imperial….but according to the real life guys, it was like that. Maybe there will be a change in the future so we can mix the set up

Ah, if so then I'll just deal with it. The elevation database gets it close enough anyway for your average LOAL lob.
