DCS freezes for several Minutes

Always when I try to change Keybindings or edit Controls, DCS freezes for several Minutes. If I change a Keybinding again, it freezes again. Only with the F4.

What an obtuse thing to say. It happens to me as well and turns the game from that point on into an old timey picture show that never recovers. There is obviously a problem since it only happens in this module.

It happens on other aircraft as well. It is fundamentally a DCS issue.
You might experience it in the Phantom only due to the amount of binds (more than 2000) plus how it uniquely saturates your available hardware resources.

Rest assured that we and ED are on it. But in the meantime, the best I can give you as a "solution " right now is to do your binds outside of a mission.
