Sknusk Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Would it be possible to add an elevation axis for the radar? I picked up a used f-16 hotas, but I cannot find a way to use the ANT elevation wheel. Thank you.
RodentMaster Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 You can turn the axis into a band or something where the top 1/3 is "radar elevation up" and the center is unmapped, and the bottom 1/3 is "radar elevation down" or so. My winwing allows me to toggle an axis to a slider directly and I just map the new buttons to what I want. I don't really like how the F1 radar is mapped out. It's a little clunky because I think they're trying to recreate the original mechanics rather than focusing on ease of use.
MAXsenna Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 @RodentMaster They are. @Sknusk I understand what you mean and want, while I'm not sure if it will work the way you want/expect. It's the two buttons on the top of the radar stick.

It's two buttons on the Radar Control Stick, You might be able to make it work like @RodentMaster master suggests. While if that HOTAS is the old TM Cougar set, you need to do it in T.A.R.G.E.T. which might be tricky. I use an extra TM 16000.M as the radar stick. It's perfect. 16 hours ago, RodentMaster said: I don't really like how the F1 radar is mapped out. Sknusk Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 Thank for the suggestions guys. I have a set-up that works, I just prefer to keep the controls as close as possible between the aircraft, and I do like the f-16 setup.

I keep it as close to the real thing as possible. Only way for me to remember.

I found a Winwing F-16 throttle for $50, because the USB port was loose, and it cost me 2 dollars to fix. Maybe after I find a set of rudder pedals...

I just map the buttons as close to the real thing on what I have. Currently TM Warthog and Cougar throttles. I only use the Cougar for the F-16 and the JF-17. The Warthog suits all other modules better.
