Pilot radar indicator and AP Alt Hold

Hi guys!

I encounter 2 problems with the Cold & Dark start: first one, I have no radar indication in the pilot seat after "Jester" has finished his "auto" procedures just before taxi and the second(maybe I should say the first because during the preflight check it already doesn't work)the AP "Alt Hold" doesn't stay on when I engage it(it's the same if I use a mapping key or the switch itself in the cockpit). May be I do something wrong or I forget something. Help would be greatelly appreciated!

Have you switched the radar display on? (Behind and to the left of the stick, labelled TV/Off/Radar I think)

Have you also turned on the stability switches Pitch/Roll/Yaw By your left elbow. Without these on the AP wont stay on?

My mistake I didn't switch the Radar on. Yes I have switched the 3 STAB AUG on. I can engage the AP but not the ALT Hold on

Ensure that You don´t have a Pitch Breakout.

Check this by opening the control indicator window (Ctrl+Enter). The small diamond must be within the bigger one.

Your Joystick might need calibration.

I've just tested your suggestion and you were spot on. Now I can engage ALT ON. I appreciate very much your help Dave and fjacobsen, case closed
