Raisuli Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 Controls: Screen Red Filter should probably be on/off/toggle rather than INC and DEC, particularly since clicking in the cockpit yields a binary switch. Differential braking doesn't seem to be a thing; maybe that's due to the nose wheels demanding their directional authority, but this seems more pronounced than on other aircraft with NWS so I thought I'd mention it. The vertical velocity meter seems like it's a little over-caffeinated. That might also be expected behavior, but it's really twitchy. Again, 'more than other aircraft', but this isn't other aircraft. I'm fine if it works correctly. There were a couple other minor things that have been bugging me lately, but I had so much fun with that zoom climb I lost track of time and She Who Must Be Obeyed wants her dinner! 2

Yes, thanks. This is due to some refactoring, lol. 9 hours ago, Raisuli said: Differential braking doesn't seem to be a thing; maybe that's due to the nose wheels demanding their directional authority, but this seems more pronounced than on other aircraft with NWS so I thought I'd mention it. Thanks, will have a look. 9 hours ago, Raisuli said: The vertical velocity meter seems like it's a little over-caffeinated. That might also be expected behavior, but it's really twitchy. It is indeed laggy and should only be interpreted when it stabilized itself. 3

WinOrLose Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 I find the differential braking works fine - maybe even too good. 1
Alpha Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 I agree on the "too good" differential braking. IRL the nosewheel steering has good authority and you don´t have to give the amount of care to braking each side equally as it´s currently the case in DCS. Sure, the real pedal has way more resiatance than home setups, but anyway... It´s worth adjusting 1
