Hello,

I want to upgrade my current (34") monitor to either the new ROG Oled 34" or 49" screen, anyone any experience with them?

I also use the monitors for work 4 days a week (9-5).

Thanks!

I use a 48” LG OLED for gaming and working from home full time. It’s fantastic! If you’re worried about burn-in I don’t think that’s a big concern these days as the screens have several features like pixel cleaning and shifting. My guess is that LG makes the panels for ROG because their specs seem identical.

Thanks, not so much worried about the burn in, but the pixels in fonts for use of office utilities like word, outlook, teams, chrome.

Personally I am looking at a ROG 43" with a 27" on the side, both Q-OLED

Fonts and graphics look fantastic. Like looking at a giant retina iPad. The only reason I had been hesitant about OLED for work is having it on all day and maybe burning it. But no trouble there. I do have the screen farther away from me than smaller ones. That’s another plus too because it’s much more relaxing on the eyes.

Something to consider with a very large screen and WFH is your webcam. If the screen is high and far away you’ll need a camera with pan and zoom functions otherwise you’ll look crazy far away. But I found one and it works fine. TrackIR has no trouble being mounted up there.
