nocs25 Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Good morning everyone. After the update I started having problems with the VR. Basically now when you enter a server it immediately loads the map, and as a result my PC starts to suffer. In some servers it does, in others it doesn't. For example, on Enigma I'm unable to log in because the PC crashes. I noticed in servers where the map has little detail I have no problems selecting the slot. Once in the game I have absolutely no problem. Isn't there a way to start the old fashioned way right in the slot?
Ahdidaas Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 +1 one to this. I had to ctrl-alt-del and kill DCS has it kept hanging in the F10 start screen of the server. (Contention). Its pretty frustrating.. it'll freeze for 20-30s, then move a little, freeze again .. 1
KoN Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 (edited) Yes for some odd reason some one thought it would be a good idea to load in the map and all units in the main menu causing laggy stuttering mess for VR users. Which then adds vertigo. Clearly was not tested in a VR headset on a mid range computer . Bad idea . And when you die you got to go through it all over again . Adding insult to injury for a VR user . I just quit after a few deaths . Some one on discord said to disable super carrier to stop the lag and stuttering in the menu .
