Weidlich Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 MP and SP same behaviour. You have a Litening TGP and HTS pod installed and powered, everything working fine. After rearming (any loadout, just keep the TGP loaded), with both hardpoint (HDPT) switches on, the HTS stays powered but the TGP will be off and stays off. The only way to get it back running is to powercycle it's HDPT switch. This behaviour changed aprox two patches ago. Before it always came on itself after rearming. Intentional behaviour/change or bug? Kind regards DxDiag.txt tgp test.trk dcs.log tgp test.miz http://www.sysprofile.de/id17271
ED Team Solution Lord Vader Posted July 24, 2024 ED Team Solution Posted July 24, 2024 Hi @Weidlich The operation of loading/unloading ammunition involves the plugging/unplugging of power supply to the units, this is for weapons or pods. In DCS when you request rearming, even if you keep weapons or pods, the crew will unload and load all stations. Thus, power supply is turned off and requires a power cycle. This is currently intended behaviour. This can change in the future, but for now you do require to turn off the hardpoints during rearming or power cycle after it's complete. 1 Esquadra 701 - DCS Portugal - Discord
Weidlich Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 (edited) Thank you, in this case the HTS should be reported as it does not switch off the power itself during rearming and is available without cycling the hardpoint power switch. Seen in my track (HTS video on the left screen before/during/after rearming. I'll open a new bug report for it. Edited July 24, 2024 by Weidlich http://www.sysprofile.de/id17271
ED Team Lord Vader Posted July 24, 2024 ED Team Posted July 24, 2024 We're working on a standard for this particular operation, but thanks for the suggestion. 1 Esquadra 701 - DCS Portugal - Discord
