Mission 1 GBU's don't explode?

Hello, it's probably my mistake, but in mission 1 neither of the two GBUs explode. Laser code 1688, switch ARM on, I'm not using LST, I simply point my TGP at the target in point track mode, tell Matrix to laser on, and launch them as usual.

Perhaps I must to track the Matrix laser via LST before launch? Problem with new fuse logic?

Hi @gonvise

Its a DCS bug . The bombs are dud as a result of the recent DCS fuze changes. I have put in place a fix which will be out next update. In the meantime believe you can resolve it by going into the arming page at the start. Change bombs to something else . Go out and come back into the page and replace the bombs with the original bombs. Should work then.

Also happened to me.

So to be clear, if I start with any bomb, I need to remove it, and re-add it via the rearm panel? Which fuze should I use so that it works by setting EFUZE to INST?

Hi @PawlaczGMD

Change the existing bombs to another type. Then change them back to the original bombs. You must end up with the same bomb as you started with. Do not change the fuzing type.

@Talvid Hi, difficult to see exactly what you mean. Can you give a bit more detail. Thanks.

The explosion plume would go up while the GBU was just about to impact.   Is desync in single player a possibility?

Hi @Talvid

We have set up a small tolerance zone around the target. What you are seeing is the target exploding as the bomb enters the tolerance zone slightly before the bomb hits. The reason we design this in is from time to time there are bomb inaccuracy especially with AI. This device ensures the mission does not stall if there are slight inaccuracies in the bomb trajectory.

And I don't mean to be nitpicky.  I realize you content developers are constantly battling performance issues, and thanks for the effort because the campaigns really add a depth of immersion to the Sim.  I really was just looking for an excuse to link my highlights video
