Easy Communication forced at every game start

Every time I restart DCS World the game automatically reverts back to Easy Communications. How can I fix this?

It's a known issue with the new launcher (and not the only option that gets reset whenever you start it). The only "fix" available for now is disabling the laucher and starting the game "the old way".
