Jackjack171 Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Not sure where or how to post this but I have Sim app pro for my Winwing stuff. I have never seen the MFD display tab. I do get the warnings, however. The thing is, I just purchased the MFD's and now I cannot get them to show properly. Everything online say that I need that MFD tab yet, there isn't one. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Sim app pro several times. Please help! DO it or Don't, but don't cry about it. Real men don't cry!
Wostg Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 So to be clear, what's missing from here? null I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly

According to Youtube setup videos, it should be there. Unless Winwing changed something. Thank you for replying, I am having a hell of a time setting this up. DO it or Don't, but don't cry about it. Wostg Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 that last tab on mine is the one that sets up the mfds (screens not buttons). If you have the monitors working (they show your desktop etc) you need to work your way down that left hand tab "check mfd display driver" etc etc and it should see you right. Maybe that youtube was outdated? If the video you;re watching shows a tab that says "shop" or "store" it definitely is as that got removed over a year ago. Jackjack171 Posted August 4, 2024 Author Posted August 4, 2024 I understand. I have plugged it all back in. I have the Display link manager as well. It shows my MFD's but says that they are disconnected yet I have them connected. Could this be an issue? Simapp pro is saying check if options.lua exist. DCS is pointed to the right path. I'm not sure where to go from there. All drivers are current. DO it or Don't, but don't cry about it. Real men don't cry!
Wostg Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 That's weird. Do they show in Windows Display settings? Are the monitors using the correct USB connection? Is it the latest drivers from Windows Driver Downloads for Downloads Section | Synaptics? They should be conneted to your PC using the large type A on the left (screen facing you) - I think there's a small type c on the right that's unnecessary. Dos Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Hello as far as the options lua that file is created when you boot DCS. Then you close it and launch winwing followed by DCS. I guess winwing piggybacks on it after DCS creates it.
bandp2 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Did you find the solution as I have the same issue. I can't get the MFD Tab either. but I get my 5 monitors in the configuration page under Check Monitor status when DCS is running in the green, I too have no MFD Tab page.
Jackjack171 Posted October 2, 2024 Author Posted October 2, 2024 Hello all. I am sorry for not replying sooner, I had a business trip for work that took me away from my computer and out of town. I'm thinking that the "Set game screen" and "DisplayLink manager have something to do with my problems. Neither are showing that anything is hooked up. My main monitor is not showing in the Displaylink manager and nothing at all shows in the SimAppPro "Set game screen" page. I've downloaded all drivers, the "check info about DCS" is good. I have no idea the problem. DO it or Don't, but don't cry about it. Real men don't cry!
