IRC you could download DCS world stable or beta, I only see one install now.  Is that stable?

Open Beta does not exist anymore.

One more thing, I have the regular icon to start, also one for MT, so there's a choice to use MT or not?

There is a choice but you should go for MT anyway as ST will eventually be removed.
