lens Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Recently, after encountering a few bugs with Quadview (jittering), I noticed that I no longer see Quadview in DCS. I mean, I don't see the edges of the view that indicate Quadview is working. I followed all the instructions in the manual/wiki from Meta Quest Pro · mbucchia Any idea how to fix it or how to diagnose where the problem could be?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted August 14, 2024 ED Team Posted August 14, 2024 Hi, quad views are working please ensure you have updated to the latest DCS version. In a future update we will also have a box ticked in the vr tab in DCS when quadviews and eye trackng is active and detected. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? mbucchia Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 (edited) Try inspecting your log file: https://github.com/mbucchia/Quad-Views-Foveated/wiki/Troubleshooting 10 hours ago, lens said: I don't see the edges of the view that indicate Quadview is working The whole idea of foveated rendering with eye tracking is that you shouldn't notice it. So maybe you're not having any issues and everything is actually working as expected. You can also use some of the advanced debugging options to really confirm: https://github.com/mbucchia/Quad-Views-Foveated/wiki/Advanced-Configuration#options-for-advanced-debugging Edited August 14, 2024 by mbucchia I wasn't banned, but this account is mostly inactive and not monitored.
Ahdidaas Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 I highly recommend playing around w/ the config file. You can adjust the size of the view, its fidelity, etc.. Maybe give yourself an extra few frames!
lens Posted August 17, 2024 Author Posted August 17, 2024 Debugging mode helps. I had a 0.75 setting perifeall view so that's was very high that I did not see it. Thanks!
