MSCTF.dll and Special password features

Hello community and thank you for your investment.

I have a problem because since version 2.9 of DCS the game no longer launches.

I've identified two problems:

- the MSCTF.dll file that prevents me from launching the game (found in the log file).
- the special character “@” in the launcher password field that I can't enter. I've tried with several logitech wireless keyboards but it's impossible, I have to copy and paste the password.

For MSCTF.dll I have the various tips to solve the problem (“dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth” and others).

I've also set rules in my antivirus and firewall to authorize the various .exe files in bin and bin_mt (DCS.exe, DCS_updater.exe, edCefCrashpadProcess.exe, edCefRenderProcess.exe, edm_tool.exe).

I've done a full repair, a clean-up and even a total reinstallation of the game, but I still have the problem.

I wonder if there could be a link between the two?

sorry to see you are having issues, please install microsoft redistributable here https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
then reboot the pc and test, let me know if it helps. 

if you still have issues please attach your dcs log from saved games dcs log folder

Hello and thank you BIGNEWY.

I had already reinstalled this version of MVC++ 14.40.33810 but I started all over again. Uninstall, clean registry, reboot, reinstall MVC++ with your link.
I also changed my password to remove the “_, @, &, ...” type symbols and just put uppercase, lowercase and numbers.

But I still have the same problem, so I'm attaching my dcs.log.
