Hi folks sorry if it's obvious and has been answered before but do we still have to manually launch the Multithreading version of DCS from the bin-mt folder or is the default exe now always using multi-threading?

Thanks!

If you install DCS from clean then it will set up the MT shortcuts by default.  If you use the new launcher it should take you to MT.  If you use the updater exe it should take you to MT.  If you have an existing install and you're not running the updater on startup (i.e. you're going directly into DCS) you'll need to make sure your shortcuts are set to MT rather than ST.  If in doubt just check that it says Multi-Thread preview on the main screen before the version number.

Great explanation, thank you! 🙂
