RazorbackNL Posted August 18, 2024 Author Posted August 18, 2024 I use a DIY floor mounted cyclic, very loosely based on the HOTAS Cougar. It has no centering springs or FFB. Mentioned trim mode works in any chopper module (except the Gazelle which doesn't have this mode), but it is failing me in the Chinook. pixelpilot Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 No not alone. I'm in the same boat with my vp rhino ffb stick. The trimmer modes want you to centre the stick but with no centering forces thats tricky plus I've gotten used to not moving my stick after using force trim in other helos. I'm hoping that the ffb and proper trim function come when the AFCS gets added to the Chinook.
