Skynet vs the new SAM evasion option

Not sure where this belongs. So I have been using skynet for a couple years now. I ran a mission on Friday with skynet and the new ARM evasion option and nothing happened. So my question is, do they cancel each other out? 

Also how effective is the in-game option vs the skynet script?

I'd be interested in this as well, I'd love to stop using scripts and mods and have a self made game but skynet has been so good for me over the years as a mission editor!
