Volator Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 (edited) Has the FoV of Sidewinders (B, P, P-5) been reduced lately? I feel it has been larger before, now it is much harder to get a tone... Bug or intentional? F-5E_Aim-9P_tone_001.trk F-5E_Aim-9B_tone_001.trk F-5E_Aim-9P_tone_003.trk F-5E_Aim-9P-5_tone_001.trk Edited August 27, 2024 by Volator 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
Volator Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 You can see that FoV for R-3S and R-13M1 are much larger... MiG-21_R-3S_R-13M1_tone_001.trk 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
DSplayer Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Hmm, nothing has changed in the files for any of the AIM-9s or R-3/R-13s that would change the FOV. Maybe it's an F-5E specific issue? Would it be possible for you to downgrade to a previous version and test it out? Sorry, I cannot downgrade, but I will try with different aircraft and see what that does. 1./JG71 "Richthofen" - Seven Eleven
