Not specific to any aircraft, game hangs for more than three minutes after drawing the first part of the cockpit display.  It doesn't appear to be doing anything and Windows says "Not Responding."  After 3:48 it carried on as if nothing happened.  This seems to happen the first time selecting an aircraft slot after joining the server.

I haven't been able to reliably recreate this or get a good track file.  I also disabled Supercarrier again to mitigate the issues with the slot list reshuffling and freezing which seems also to be related.  I was hoping this was something already reported, if I can get something definitive I will add it here.

I don't have a track for this because so far they've been way too big to upload or use.  But I have figured out something, maybe?  If I join an MP server, then am in an observer slot for some length of time (don't have a min/max estimate), then on selecting an aircraft slot the game freezes for a length time that might be proportional to the length of time being observer.  At least that's my conclusion so far.  Now that I've figured that out I'll try to get a track, or at least better examples.

This was much easier to reproduce than I thought.  The attached track is from an MP mission (Nevada) that I have for testing.  For this track I started the mission, waited at the faction selection screen for 20 minutes, then when joining the aircraft slot the game freezes for 50 seconds.  If I select an aircraft slot right away it works as normal.  The freeze happens right here in the log:
