It doesn't appear to be doing anything and Windows says "Not Responding." After 3:48 it carried on as if nothing happened. Lasko Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 I haven't been able to reliably recreate this or get a good track file. I also disabled Supercarrier again to mitigate the issues with the slot list reshuffling and freezing which seems also to be related. I was hoping this was something already reported, if I can get something definitive I will add it here.
Lasko Posted September 15, 2024 Author Posted September 15, 2024 I don't have a track for this because so far they've been way too big to upload or use. But I have figured out something, maybe? If I join an MP server, then am in an observer slot for some length of time (don't have a min/max estimate), then on selecting an aircraft slot the game freezes for a length time that might be proportional to the length of time being observer. At least that's my conclusion so far. Now that I've figured that out I'll try to get a track, or at least better examples.

For this track I started the mission, waited at the faction selection screen for 20 minutes, then when joining the aircraft slot the game freezes for 50 seconds. If I select an aircraft slot right away it works as normal.
