DISS-15 not resetting to zero following self-test?

Hi.

I came back from flying the Mi-24 (whose DISS deviation meter does reset to zero angle/no speed display after completing the self-test), and found that the Mi-8's DISS deviation meter doesn't reset itself to display zero deviation angle and no speed if I put the self-test switch to "work" (Р) from "test" (К).

Is this intended or an issue?

Cheers.

I'm not sure which is correct mode of operation, but it starts working once you are moving.

One thing I did notice with Hind's DISS is that it does not show when it is operational and when it is in memory mode, while Hip's memory light is working as intended.

I agree with the first, but the Hind's DISS does have the П light coming on when it goes into memory, unless it got shot up.
