JFisher Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 (edited) When receiving a target via datalink you will see the "REC" on the TSD but you are not able to accept/store the target as long as a direct to any target point is set in the RTE. Once you recycle the direct to to a normal WP you are able to store a target from DL. Edited September 3, 2024 by JFisher
ED Team Lord Vader Posted September 4, 2024 ED Team Posted September 4, 2024 Hello @JFisher Please clarify the steps you're taking to reproduce this issue. Is this happening while you're in the RTE sub-menu selecting DIR? For something like this we often ask for a track file of the event for our analysis. Esquadra 701 - DCS Portugal - Discord
JFisher Posted September 4, 2024 Author Posted September 4, 2024 1. Set a direct to a target point via the RTE sub-menu 2. Have a 2nd aircraft send a target point to you via datalink 3. Can't store the received target point 4. Set the direct to a waypoint or anything else than a target point in the RTE sub-menu 5. Now you can store the received point
ED Team Raptor9 Posted September 4, 2024 ED Team Posted September 4, 2024 Hello @JFisher, we could not reproduce this issue. Regardless of whether the Target point was present at mission start or entered by a player from the cockpit, and regardless of whether the Target point was the same T## index number set as the receiving aircraft's DIR or not, the received point was able to be stored. If you are still encountering this issue, please attach a short track replicating the precise conditions it occurs. Thanks.
