I use XRNS in another sim and works great for VR uses to check their six o'clock with out breaking your neck .

Since updates this year the app  XRNS no longer is working and DCS refuses to open and gives a error for DCS .

Please allow this critical software that is brilliant for VR uses .

Install this tool and drop a screenshot here of your OpenXR layers that it shows https://github.com/fredemmott/OpenXR-API-Layers-GUI

Drop a DCS log file here as well for review. It will be in your Saved Games\DCS\Logs directory. Needs to be a log file containing a crash from this. It may just be that you have multiple OpenXR layers and they need to be reordered, or something else conflicting. The tool can be used to reorder the layers, or disable/enable them.

Apologies for the late response, not sure if you're still having issues or just uninstalled. Interesting, I was expecting XRNecksafer to show up in there as well. Is it under any other the other tabs? Check to see if you've installed the latest version of XRNeckSafer as well. If you unselect the OpenXR Toolkit from within that tool does this start up as expected? Can you drop a dcs.log file here, after completly starting the game, not just the launcher. Log file will be in "C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS\Logs" , it will be called either "dcs.log" or just "dcs" if Windows is hiding file extensions on your machine.

Bumping this thread - since the last update (the big one, not the hotfix) XRNS no longer works, causes DCS to lock up/freeze when a snap look command is used, have to kill DCS process to continue. As long as the XRNS snap look command is not used DCS works fine.

When starting DCS I get the following OpenXR processes: Quad View, eye tracking, and XRNS (I think, I'll get a snapshot next time I fire up the game and attach).

I'm running a Quest Pro with DFR, eyetracking, win11, have the new quad vue and eye tracking boxes checked in DCS.

Up to the latest DCS update had no problems with XRNS, now it's completely unuseable.

Ideas?
