mod Getting different target distances using The Way

Hi,

Same Newbie with endless questions but learning fast ( I think !)

Programming targets using The Way and zooming in as far as possible to save waypoint in Dec / secs and boxing precise and then checking A/C to ensure Dec secs again, I quite often get a target which is 4468 mile away !!    I see this when I go to take off in the HUD and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong here. Its not all the time just some times.  I save the waypoints as Mark points then transfer them to each Slam in TOO mode on the ground. I have found its does not seem to me to be possible to transfer in this manner in PP mode. I may be wrong but thats my  experience.
