DCoffey Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 I have never played multi-player and would like to experiment with it. I mainly fly the UH-1, but own the Mi24, CH-47, AH64, Ka-50, SA342, Mi8. I am looking for advice on how to start or where to go. Thanks all.

I would start by looking at the novice players and new players servers , few posts on the forums as well for beginners . If you start on servers like that, everyone should be around the same level as you then you can work your way up to more challenging servers. Hoggit do a Tuesday Night session for new players: https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/Getting_Started_With_Multiplayer 4YA also do sessions for new players: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/916-the-4ya-community/ Edited September 26, 2024 by TKhaos
HungryCoyote Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 @DCoffey Wolf Pack has training servers and lots of helpful people. Great place to get started with multi-player. https://discord.gg/wolfpack1
DCoffey Posted November 30, 2024 Author Posted November 30, 2024 Do I need a headset or does the quest 3 have a mic? I assume there will be voice communication?

If you’re still looking for a server. Rotorhead server is a splendid place. I been busy in rl, cannot bother with firm dates and appointments. Rotorhead is a massive campaign against ai. A lot to do in transportation. Take a little while to understand the logic, to me anyway. If you like we can fly together sometime. With one just showing you will be up and running in 10 minutes. I used to only fly SP and still enjoy that. https://discord.gg/7TmkEzXn
Mr_sukebe Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 It would be worth including your timezone, as DCS players are scattered around a lot of different countries. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
mech79 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 If you are interested we are looking for Helo pilots in our group. Yes voice would be needed, but I believe the quest 2 has a mic. We train twice a week and love beginners that want to learn. We have a training program we put you through prior to joining our Joint Opwerations we do each month. Hit me up with a PM if you are interested in learning more. Discord- mech79
