Limit Updater download speed

Hello all,

I wish to limit the speed of the dcs standalone download tool. I have a good fibre connection, but asap i start an update it goes 100% and other people in my network cant watch youtube videos anymore because its downloading so fast

Can i somehow limit the download speed?

There is software that can help you with this. Example NetLimiter

 

Or you can set up QoS and set priority on the service that should always work.

Yeah you are right. I additionally can setup some speed profiles in my ubiquiti dream machine router. But i was hoping for some tiny hidden config files somewhere in the dcs folder so that i simple can edit them. There are no?

You can try using the settings parameter on the updater, don't know if it's a thing that works:

DCS_updater.exe settings
