Sadly i was creating missions and so i was switching between different mission with and without a carrier, but i can continue testing with an eye on that.

Me and my friend had in the past days since the latest patch mutiple crashes too. He uses Steam version, i use standalone. We do not use Mods. Before this patch we had none crashes. Hello all, i want to play dcs with some friends. And currently iam looking for some missions i can slap on the server while i learn and create some own missions. We played arma and we liked to play these kind of Liberation, Capture the island missions where we have to capture the entire map while there is a dynamic task system in the background serving with some random mission. Iam looking for something like this, can someone suggest some projects? Thanks!

If i enable MAN Mode on the paveway III it does not look like this in the HUD. Didnt see such a recticle i can configure or modfy.

Hallo, iam trying to get into the mission editor. Currently iam trying to make an ai ch-47d cycle between two airbases. I want the ch-47d to land, wait for a few minutes and then start again to do the same at the other airbase, repeat forever. Currently iam only getting him fly from airbase a to airbase b with landing, but at that point he just stays at the ground. How can i finish this task? Thanks for help!

Hello, is it possible to host a server if i have no public ipv4 address? Our entire village got superb glass fibre, perfect conditions to host a server. But with ipv6 that get bridged down somehow to ipv4 at our internet provider to talk with the rest of the world. If i check whatsmyip.com he tells me the same ipv4 address like my neighbour. Is there still a trick to do it? I tried to add port 10308 to my firewall and port forwarding list but without any luck. My server does not show up on the serverbrowser nor is reachable with the ip i got from whatsmyip.com (I am not surprised). Thanks for help!

Yeah, that are good points. I would buy all the modules i want asap but since i dont know what happens to the steam-standalone compability i cant and i have to wait :-/

I just started with DCS. I have the F-15C, the free russian plane and the A-10C. Enough stuff to learn until the next f-18 sale. It just would be nice to know if i have to say goodbye to steam someday because they do not longer plan to bring both versions together. :cry:

Sorry for bringing this up. Is this still the plan? Iam new to DCS and my next purchases (Iam going for the F-18, Harrier and Nevada map) will make me decide if i can keep the steam version (I really like the fast download and all the steam features) or switch to standalone. I do not expect a solution tomorrow or in the next weeks but if i will never be able to import steam modules into the standalone i would like to know it before i buy them on steam. Thanks!
