P47 Custom Skin Tips

Recommended Posts

Hey guys and gals. I am new to DCS, so please forgive if my questions are ill informed.  My father flew the Thunderbolt in WWII, and I'd like to duplicate his aircraft - The Snortin' Bull - by modifying the skins/textures for the DCS P47. My online searches for techniques generated so many tutorials that I am unsure about whose approach I should take.

Do any of you have recommendations for a good tutorial or set of written instructions to do this? The skins I will try to create will be based on a few photos I have of his aircraft like the ones shown here.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out.  Dad passed in '91, but he would get a hell of a kick seeing his Jug in the skies of DCS world...
