Disc vs DL.

Will the patch be posted somewhere on the DCS site when available?

Also, I just bought the disc version, but have the downloaded version I bought a couple months ago. Would there be any benefit of uninstalling my downloaded version and reinstalling from the disc? Thanks guys!:doh:

Everything I've seen indicates that there is no difference between the DL version and the Disc version. The Disc version doesn't do discchecks or anything such - just a different install medium.

 

There are some people around here that have all released versions (I think some even had friends in Russia mail them the Russian DVD version), so if there's some differences or advantages I'm sure they'll chime in - but in all the discussions on the board I've never seen a concrete difference or advantage to either of them; just different media.

No difference softeware-wise, but with disc, you do get a nice box, a start-up guide and acheaper price.

Made.In.China, did you get your boxed version in Canada? I can't locate any store who would carry it. Looking for the english version.

HiFly62, since I have the DL version, I didn't really look for it, so...

Did you try EB Games? I'm pretty sure Best Buy and futureshop in canada don't have Black Shark.

ebgames.com has it but ebgames.ca does not. Go figure....
