Thanks gabgio! My plan is to run a 4K monitor with factory settings - overclocking etc. beyond my expertise. I fly mainly ground pounders so visual target acquisition is important for me from around 3000 meters.

Setting shadows to low seems to be a viable workaround - most of the time. In custom missions (nothing to do with extending the refueling probe) the strobing randomly returns. A few times managed to fix it by exiting and restarting DCS. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but looks to me that the strobing starts when I do modifications to an existing mission and save it. Turning the exterior lights off didn't have any positive affect for me.

Same issue here, happens all the time when the probe is extended. It also happens on custom missions, as soon as I enter the mission - with the probe closed. Sometimes after restarting DCS it goes away however the probe open strobing never does. Cockpit shadows are off, have to try if the workaround will lend a temporary fix.

Brixmis, care to elaborate ?

Hi, A number of my modules: F18, Harrier, Su25T etc are not usable after the latest update. Something to do with Starforce. Any of you guys experienced it?

The controls lock is funny, locks up than if I release the stick and do one or two trims it will trim and you have control again.

Happens to me also, quite often. Sometimes resetting will make it go away sometimes you have to quit the mission. Last time started when I had a tank locked up that went behind some trees.

Hi Capt Zeen! Thanks for the reply. Could you give me the path where the content of the "DCS Monitor Configuration" has to be copied? As for the viewport coordinates - do I only change the the size adding up my horizontal and vertical pixels?

Hi Guys! Need some help. I'm trying to get Capt_Zeen's excellent Ka50 profile running. Two monitors (1920,1200 and 1680,1050) side by side, Helios on right. Installed everything and got as far as displaying the profile correctly on the second monitor, the gauges are working, the push buttons are working. The viewports are not working. There is a DCS Monitor Configuration folder but don't know where to copy the content or how to edit the lua files for shkval, abris etc sizes.:cry: I've red a lot of very good advice on the forum that is how I got as far as I am but this is the end of the line for me :helpsmilie: Thanks in advance 59th_HiFly

Found the problem, one of the wires in the ribbon cable - in the throttle - was broken. I've soldered it, just waiting for some liquid insulation to arrive and should be up and running again. :pilotfly:

I've encountered the following: axis control is assigned in game, pitch, yaw, thrust, zoom. Now when I apply full thrust the zoom also kicks in going to full zoom out. I've deleted all and done the rebind, same result. TrackIr zoom function not assigned, no other conflict with other devices. Before I start taking the HOTAS apart to check for hardware issues has anyone encountered anything similar? Thanks, 59th_HiFly

Unfortunately Tek, a higher price tag would drive away some more people than you have to hike prices again, it's catch 22. A lot of folks can't be bothered with the steep learning curve among other things, there are only so many of us fanatics :pilotfly:

How can you merge two accounts? My other issue is that I can't see my serial numbers when I clic the payments button, on eighter account. Tx for the help!
