emperixx Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 If I were to fly an AI default F-16C Falcon, would it have the flight dynamics of an F16 or would it have a default flight dynamics definition for one of the default flyable aircraft such as the A-10?
emperixx Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Oh no! is there a way the FM can be changed for this example aircraft?
golfsierra2 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 No. AFAIK, all AI aircraft that are made flyable by modifying the MEInit.xml will have the same cockpit and the same FM, which is not that of the aircraft you are trying to fly then. As Vekkinho said, you will end up with a Su-27 Cockpit and Su-27 FM. kind regards, Raven.... [sigpic]http://www.crc-mindreader.de/CRT/images/Birds2011.gif[/sigpic]
Vekkinho Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 ...but the plane you wish to make flyable won't fly like Su-27 because it differs in clean weight, ceiling, Vmax etc. It will have the engine power of a Su-27 but if it's half of it's weight (like F-16 is) it will accelerate quicker ;) I hope U understand my explanation!
