dresoccer4 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) I'm struggling to get Jester to lock on some targets. In the screenshot you can see they are 13nm in front of me. They are big Yak jets. However nothing I do will get Jester to lock on. He always says no can do, even if they're on my radar screen. Any idea what I'm missing here? null null Edited October 6, 2024 by dresoccer4 1 Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules
Despayre Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Inside of 20 miles, switch to PAL mode. ("Target Designate fwd/PAL" in the bindings). I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too.
WarthogOsl Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 What bind/Jester option are you using to lock them? If you are using "lock enemy," that won't work in this case, because they haven't been IFF'ed (the contacts are half squares, not and not the "^" shape), and so Jester will not lock them. There's a more generic "lock target" you should be using in this case. 1
The_Tau Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Remember that AWG9 limitations still apply. Notching or cold targets are hard to lock in Pulse Doppler STT and Jester doesnt know how to lock in Pulse STT Tau's Youtube channel Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/the0tau
