Caucasus Instant action Cold and Dark keeps crashing DCS

I'm not sure what's going on.

This weekend, I was doing more than an hour of Instant Action Free Flight over many maps (Caucasus, Persian Gulf, Syria, Sinai) and all went fine. Today, I wanted to try the Cold and Dark instant action on Caucasus, but I keep getting DCS crashes before I even reach the end of the startup procedure (reports were automatically sent by DCS after the crash).

For example, once it crashed before RPM could reach 60% (so at the very beginning). Another time was just after alignment.

Is it something known or that is specific to my computer setup?

Hey @lwalter

We cannot reproduce this particular crash. What we suggest is that you perform a repair on your DCS and if you have any mods, please disable them as well.

Since you sent the reports we will analyse that crash for sure.

thank you @Lord Vader

I will do as you advise next weekend and I'll retry the cold and dark instant action mission.

I performed a repair (5 files replaced) and removed my mods (had only A4, UH60 and T45). I had the same crash.

However, Windows itself was also starting to  crash (BSoD).

Checked my BIOS, as I recently installed additional RAM, and there was a slight frequency mismatch in the config. After fixing that, no single crash in DCS for the entire session!
