LKNANML Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) Issue synopsis: At the end of a SP mission DCS BS will freeze. I need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to access the close program screen and then DCS loads the after mission screen then I can go on. Side note. I will randomly be sent back a mission if I do not fly the next mission. If I close BS after a successful mission and with a crash and with the next mission able to fly I will not have been given credit. It shows up in my pilot stats but my campaign is not tracking true. Panzertard Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Hm, it reffers to ATI modules with the last one there. Still, it's very much the same indicators and behaviour as with my Intertmittent MP Crash on Session End Hey - maybe you and I could write a book together on this one :) J/K. :D The major difference between you and I right here is, you got ATI and I use Nvidia. I experience it in MP mostly - but also sometimes in SP. With you it's campaignes and missions. You got Vista, I have Win 7. What c0ff stated so far is that they suspect it's an unexpected situation where we run out of mappable memory space for the process ... okai, even I might have gotten that one wrong. :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
LKNANML Posted June 16, 2009 Author Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) I'm really close to uninstalling and looking for another way to get my flight combat fix.. My game started crashing every single time I finished a mission with the same two errors filling up my temp folder. I've had to redo so many missions cause my progress was lost unless I kept playing new missions till I was able to quit without a crash.. I decided to reinstall the game and start over without success. What's needed to monitor the crashes so I can start collecting data and posting it. Edited June 16, 2009 by LKNANML
