LePaul Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Hi, This just started happening over the past 3 weeks. I'll be flying along and then suddenly the Oculus Link (I have via USB connection to PC) drops. I am left viewing the Oculus home page. I re-connect and am unable to get back to DCS since it has crashed. So, I am unsure if this crash was brought on by DCS and Oculus is dropping due to that - or the other way around. Whenever the crash occurs, it sends off a report. It doesn't happen all the time. I flew for a good 2 hours the other night before it dumped. The next night, it did so 20 minutes in. No hardware changes made for a very long time. Quest Pro, Intel i9, 64gb, RTX4090, all recent Windows 11 updates. Thanks
Mr_sukebe Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 No similar issues here. Does it crash outside of DCS? You could test that by just using the desktop in VR for a while. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
sleighzy Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 (edited) Next time it crashes drop your “C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\dcs.log” file here (don’t restart the game as this only contains your last session) . It may just be a text document named “dcs” if your Windows is hiding file extensions. If there is a crash zip file then drop that here too. You can additionally run the Windows DxDiag tool, save the report, and drop here. This will contain the last 10 crashes/issues on your system so may help identify cause. diego999 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Try replacing the cable. I've had crashes and disconnects when mine was on its last legs. You can try airlink to test if the problems remain. If it keeps crashing, then it's not the cable.

No, just in DCS On 11/20/2024 at 4:11 AM, sleighzy said: Next time it crashes drop your “C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\dcs.log” file here (don’t restart the game as this only contains your last session) .
