First time it almost always works out fine, the function works, but almost always the second time, the heli twist and turns out of control. JG14_Smil Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 use rctrl enter to see your trim control inputs. It will show why you are spinning and help you learn better trim technique. if all is OK there, you may be turning off the HDG hold AP button (leave it on).
Draco Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 when you enter auto hover it trims the cyclic to hover but keeps any rudder trim the same. I almost always fly with the input visualizer on just so I know where my rudder is. So trim out any yawing tendencies once your in the hover.
