problem to launch

hello

 

i have a problem

 

i install the game and it work perfectly.

but when i install the french version the game doesn't launch

i have the screen that's said game downloading and that all.

 

i have donwload the game and the patch on the dcs web site.

 

i haven't an error.log

 

my config

 

P5E

E8500

8800 gtx

2ghz corsair memory

windows xp pack3

 

all my drivers are at the last vesion

Does this mean you installed 2 different versions of the game? Sounds kinda contradicting... "I install the game and it works perfectly" then "but when I install the French version"... I guess you should have installed only 1 version of the game...either English or the French... mabye OS sees a conflict thinking game is already installed then you install something else making a conflict?

 

How about try unsinstalling both then install your French version only.

i have install only the english version.

Maybe I'm wrong.. but I think you need the french version of the game to apply the french patch, wich is a fix because french version has been released in english for some reason. Try to reinstall and launch without the french fix.

 

French translation:

Je pense que le patch de traduction en francais de DCS ne marche que pour la version francaise de dcs, en effet du a une erreur de l'éditeur, la version francaise est en anglais et le patch est un correctif pour avoir la version fr en francais. Essayes de reinstaller et de lancer le jeu sans patch fr.

dis moi ou puis je trouve la version francaise en telechagement stp.

car moi tout ce que j'ai c'est la vesuion anglaise telechargee sur le site de dcs puis une traduction francaise trouvee sur micro application sur leur site et enfin pou finir le patch fr mis en telechargement sur le site de dcs

Yes, if you downloaded English version you will need a patch for English version... I think this is your problem.

After a quick search on network I did not find DCS french in download version but I really suggest you to buy the dvd in a store if you want the french version, personally I hate to pay for something I can't grab in my hands :) But if english version is working on your puter (without french patch of course) I would definitly play with it some time to see if I enjoy the game and if I want to buy it a second time.

 

French note: Si tu comprends pas ce que je raconte, dis le moi et jte choppe en apparté ou sur le forum francophone.

j'ai achete la version dvd en francais

 

apres installation je m'appecois que tout est en anglais seul quelque mot sont en francais.

j'ai installé le patch francais sur la vesion francaise mais la c la meme chose le jeu charge et puis le jeu ne repond plus

 

que faire?
