Power Plant or Factory "Strongest Ghost" Vid

Hello

 

Anyone knows where this factory is located in LOFC? I want to build some missions around it. Is from the Strongest Ghost video.

 

 

Or is it man-made?

I don't know. But it is easy to look around in the map in 3D.

 

Just load up a game and press F10 to get the map view.

Zoom in to a city or anywhere on the map, and press Ctrl-F11. This will jump you into 3D view in the same spot you are in the map. Use your numpad keys to turn your view left/right. / * numpad keys to move forward and backward. Left Alt-Numpad 8 and 3 to raise/lower altitude (I think). And Left Shift-Numpad 4 and 6 to slide to the right/left. Or is it Left Ctrl?

 

Anyhow, that factory looks familiar. But not sure where it is. There is a Factory on the west side of the map that has two of those huge nuclear cooling towers. They are cool to bomb. Lol.

2 of them are located very close to krasnodar center and the town itself.

Check out my Caucasus Tour mission which takes you around the interesting sights on the Caucasus part of the Lockon map.

 

There are factories/power plants scattered all over, but open up the mission in the Mission Editor and have a look at waypoints 9, 10, 11, 12. I think your picture is likely one of those.

 

The biggest factory/power plant of all is a triple installation at waypoint 25.

 

Also check out the oil fields and the oil installation at waypoint 15.

 

The Tour wouldve been too long if all the industrial sites were included on the flight path, so I used static objects to mark a few others that may be of interest.

Last night I found the one near Krasnodar. I will mark up the other ones.

I dont wonder to much in the upper part of the map ,,looove to fly low in valleys and Naval missions.

I will take your tour Brit , hope that it includes that stone arch in the cost that I have seen somewhere.

Glad you found it. There is lots of industrial stuff like that in the Caucasus section of the map and the Caucasus Tour attempts to fly you around a lot of it. Many Lockon flyers are not even aware of half the stuff the Devs put onto the map. I'm always impressed by the seemingly endless miles of oil installations from around Krymsk to Apsheronsk, the Tour only scratches the surface by flying past about 100km of them.

 

 

As for the arch near the coast, well that is not in the Caucasus, it is off the coast of the Crimea, so you need the Crimea Tour!

 

The arch is waypoint 40 - The Rock with the Hole in It. I did the Crimea Tour after the Caucasus Tour and managed to find out a lot more background information about the places, a seperate Word document has the detail and some real world pictures, which show how close the lockon versions of places are...

Hmmm...

In fact,we planning make a new movie.

Maybe the movie will be call "Wings Passed",and story from novel "Wings Passed".

But it will be a big project and we still looking for more partner.

If everything shape up,I think this movie will publish in end of next month.
