I mean, if I have a mission ( lets say for example, Banklers excellent case 1 trainer) will they automatically appear within this and start working? Or does the fact that a lot of things are dependant on static objetc and spawn points placement mean that for these features to work properly, they must be installed while the mission is made? Is there a guide anywhere as to their useage witin existing and new missions and templates for the carrier? Joch1955 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) I have been doing some quick taxi, launches and landings with the F/A-18 and F-14. The new SC Deck Crew is very nice and works well in SP in both the single and instant action missions I tried. The necessary instructions appear on screen and an icon appears on top of the plane director you are supposed to take instructions from, all very intuitive and easy to follow. Or old missions from pre update? Its really not clear how its all supposed to work....for example, I am running a mission on my server that used the Stennis. I wanted the new features, so changed out the Stennis for CVN71, made sure to change all the names and edit the waypoint actions accordingly.....it works, I have deck crew, but all my static objects on the carrier deck are gone.....not sure why that is? But I imagine it is something to do with the new features....I guess my question is more to do with the mission editor and spawn points etc rather than exactly how to use the new personnel..which , as you say, is pretty obvious and intuitive..... Joch1955 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Hi, I tried included official single and instant action missions as well as an older user made mission and they all work. The new deck crew appears on the Super Carrier automatically and works as it should.
Rolln Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 (edited) Just a note, if you are using a mission made pre update, you have to open the mission up in the mission editor and save it out again. There is a new option in the mission editor to enable the deck crew. The old missions won't have this until opened/saved with the updated mission editor. Edited December 6, 2024 by Rolln

Shut down? Restart? Request taxi? Hey @Habu_69. Whts up. The deck crew will direct you to park. Once parked, the option to relaunch or rearm will automatically appear. No need to shut down, for example. At 10:18 this is exactly what appears ps: In this video I used the mission "Cold Start - Caucasus" on the first takeoff; "Case 1 - Caucasus" on landing and second takeoff. On the night takeoff I used a mission created by me.
