New Install, 3 crashes in 2 days

So i recently wiped my ssd, and reinstalled windows for the launch of msfs24, but after that DCS lost all my bindings, so i thought why not do a fresh install of DCS too. But never got round to rebinding my controls till the new patch, as i wanted to fly Arctic thunder, and try the F5.

So yesterday, i try the F5, Instant Action, takeoff from Afghanistan, an my rudders were reversed and i went off and hit another plane, but on impact game crashed. Restart, try again, halfway down runway, game crashes to desktop, with no error, again.

Then i move onto Arctic thunder by BD, which ive been having an issue with, outlined here:-

But as mentioned in the thread, if i restart the mission, it works, but as i was taxiing to rw, i just got another crash to desktop, no message. So now i have no idea what is happening.

Ive attached logs (from save games, let me know if theyre not the right ones). Systems full vanilla, no mods

Can you run the Windows DxDiag tool and then save the results and attach here.

Also disable hot plugging in the DCS controls settings.

Is this the one? I says something about my soundcard, although the soundcard worked ok on prev install. It only has windows 10 drivers on asus site (D2X), and im on win11, but still works

Open the Controls settings, like how you bind controls for planes, there should be a "Disable hot plug" button down the bottom right. It will stop DCS from scanning for new USB devices every few seconds which can cause stutters etc. If you plug in a new device you can just hit the Rescan devices button beside it.

The DCS log does not contain any crashes, so is probably Windows killing this, hence my request for the DxDiag report which shows the last 10 crashes in your system and the processes involved.

The DxDiag report shows numerous Blue Screen crashes (codes 7e, 3b, be) which appear to quite serious. It also contains a hardware failure (code 141), but may just be related to GPU drivers.

Make sure you've updated all your Windows drivers to the latest versions.

Can you run the a command prompt (cmd.exe) as an administrator and then run each of the below commands individually and then restart your PC.

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
sfc /scannow
chkdsk /R /F /X

The LiveKernelEvent 141 error is usually associated with hardware problems, especially related to the graphics card or power.

For this one you can try reinstalling your graphics driver to see if it helps. You may need to use DDU to completely remove the old driver and install the latest if a basic driver reinstall doesn't work.

There may be hardware issues somewhere, but the above may help with this.

How much free space do you have on your SSDs as well, especially any that are hosting your Windows or page file?

Can you also increase your custom page file to Initial and Max values to 32768, click Set, Apply, and restart your PC. Decrease your DCS Preload radius setting from 150000 to 60000 or less.

So last night i ran a long DCS repair, it only identified my reshade files, so left them as is. Ive adjusted my page file to 32GB on both my C:/ drive and my DCS drive (D:/). I ran all the terminal commands you suggested, nothing came up with errors (the chkdsk was done on reboot, and i didnt watch it, but came back to the login screen, so assume it completed without issue). I also wiped my display drivers with DDU, and got the manual driver from nvidia, and also updated all my motherboard drivers too. Both my ssd's (C&D) have plenty of room free, 700GB & 150GB respectively. I also disabled hotplug from inside the controls menu (thanks for the tip). Ive deleted the 2 folders suggested elsewhere too, was it "metashaders 2" & LX something?

As far as the BSODs go, that may of been when i was overclocking, after the fresh install, plus msfs24 was buggy as hell at launch, i had several crashes, but systems been good lately.

Sooo after all that, just jumped into arctic thunder, the campaign it froze on last night, and everything seemed to work. Was a bit of a stutter at the start, but that reminded me to disable the hotplug controls, and rest was smooth. So far so good, got halfway into the mission, but realized i needed a notepad for co-ords, so had to quit for now

Thank you so much for the help Sleighzy, will report back if i have further issues
