Trying to get some insight on the Jester menu and why it pulls up a certain page first in different situations.   Largely, when I pull up the Jester menu in an air to air or air to ground situation it defaults to the correct page I want such as radar settings or air to ground or Lantirn options.   However, sometimes during air to air combat, I will launch a phoenix and go cold, as I turn back in I might adjust my radar to look all the way right or left or ask it for an elevation and range setting.   Mostly the jester menu pulls up the correct page, however sometimes I think it pulls up the within visual range page vs the beyond visual range page and I don’t know why.   It then take me several seconds to get into my BVR radar settings page.   Any insight on how jester ai prioritizes these things?

Yeah, I have a couple air to air missions I like to fly.   2 vs 4   There’s a couple odd menus I find myself in unwanted and the flow out of them is odd.  I should try to grab some pictures sometime but it’s so random.   It’s a lot of memorizing key binds to run the radar decently thru the jester ai and when your menu your looking for doesn’t pop up you end up selecting things you don’t intend

To counter that I always press "Open Jester Menu" (button A on keyboard for me) twice, so Jester wheel "homepage" opens up. So while you have to add one or two presses more to combination to get what you want from jester, the Macro is constant in any situation. I use that with my Voice attack and I talk to jester, even if I want AA when in AG mode or opposite, and I have no trouble with "WVR" menu

Ah, I hadn’t thought of that but that would be consistent.  Thank you, I will try that, that will probably get me where I am trying to go.  Thanks !!

I always wondered why they never made an A1-Z99 type setup, it's how the comms menu works and keeps things in logical order (can still be graphically nice)

Easier for programming keybinds as well

I must admit, the pie menu for VR isn't 'all that' anyway, when it comes to movement, rather have a  "book index" with simple up and down view

because opening Jester with your head not centered, having to 'aim the pie slice' in the same direction you are looking, can go beyond the position you can move your head

Would help if the target line follows the head movement (so when looking left, the 'sight' already has the line on the left pie slice and so for every direction)
