GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 This was fixed (TDC depress to uncage and slew the WACQ box with the TDC) except that now I cannot recage the box with SCS left which was possible before. Not that recaging the box is that necessary but just wondering if this now is by design. Archer.xd Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 SCS Left should normally cage the WACQ yes, but since we have bump ACM, and that it is possible in uncaged WACQ (not in caged), I think it would be commanding bump. I'll forward the report with additions.

I'll forward the report with additions. I noticed while in WACQ uncaged mode, if a target get's locked and then you SCS bump (<-) it, you lose lock and WACQ is recaged immediately. So then the 2s pause gets applied in WACQ caged mode. It seems to work that way when I was trying it out. Did I understand it correctly? Also, I wonder what is the logic for WACQ cage mode not being bumpable except, in a sense, in the above scenario. Thanks for following up on this. PS: About bumping, for easy reference. Archer.xd Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 The SCS Left should command caged WACQ, if you are either operating in uncaged WACQ (this part I am not so sure about, since mentioned bump case) or you have a target locked. Currently in DCS the bump function isnt working in any WACQ, at least from what I've seen so far. For the logic, no idea. Makes sense for uncaged WACQ to have it, but for caged I don't know. 1
