One of the biggest airbase of the region is missing. Diyarbakır AB

First of all I really appreciate the job that ED made on this terrain. I really want to fly and enjoy the beautiful views across the Iraq but me and other members of our community not going to buy the map without the Diyarbakir AB. Because it’s one of the biggest Air Bases of Türkiye whom also the owner of the Incirlik AB. Don’t forget the Türkiye is the top 5 biggest army in the NATO

When we take a look at the history we can see that Turkish Bases like Incirlik and Diyarbakir played one of the biggest roles on the region.
Also one of the cities Türkiye have is Van. In Van there is a Turkish Gendarmerie Aviation group that provides Logistics with BlackHawks and CAS with the Attack Helicopters to the Iraq and the region. 
 

Our request is please expand the map to north a bit and add the Air Bases that plays a significant role in the region.

I absolutely agree. Diyarbakır airbase can be added in Iraq map with little expansion toward north west. In Syria map Ugra media did the same thing they expanded the map towards west and added Cyprus you can do a similar think in this map too. Also there are several bases/civilian airports like Van, Batman, Mardin, Siirt etc. in south eastern part of Turkey, you can add these bases very easily. Turkey is one of the key country in this region and also a NATO member, with Turkey added in this map players will have blue bases in northern part too.

I agree. I was already a bit disappointed when it was excluded from the awesome Syria map. I hope Syria and Iraq maps one day merge together and extend ~100 km to the north.

Maybe for the region generally, but for the Iraq map?

It's a long way from here and my history's not so good, but I thought Turkey sat the Iran-Iraq war out, were essentially uninvolved in Gulf War 1 and actively refused to be involved in Gulf War 2?

I know they've struck Kurdish groups they designate terrorists in the area, but overall, I thought their involvement in Iraq had been pretty low?

I'd have thought adding some more Iranian airbases would have added more to the utility of the map... 5 minutes of googling tells me that the following are all roughly the same distance or closer than Diyarbakir to Iraq and all saw action from day 1 of the Iran- Iraq war:

• Shiraz, 
• Sanandaj, 
• Ahvaz (where the Iran - Iraq war started), 
• Kermanshah, 
• Bushehr, 
• Dezful

Iranian bases would be quite useful for Iran-Iraq War scenarios, so I hope they get added. They'll be needed for a lot of real scenarios.
