Graphical glitch in between cloud layers

Hey . Just noticed this after downloading the Christmas patch . Never saw it before.  Its only there when looking at a higher cloud layer from below. Any ideas?

It was happening prior to the latest patch.  Do some scrolling around in the forums and you'll find it.  I believe it's Preset 2 that has an issue, but if you search around you'll find the other threads and can confirm that.

Same issue - see it mostly on Caucasus Map.  Seems issue is static and once you pass it or turn away you don;t see it again.

Oh! I just made another thread/topic about this. 
Could it be some old weather setting in older missions and editors?
I seem to have flown straight into the center of it:

Based on reports this can occur when using the "Broken Preset 3" clouds setting. Try one of the other ones and see what happens.
