mods conflict Trying to add a CV to a mission but it doesn't appear

Hi check if you have stopwatch icon selected on bottom of mission editor it limits selection by the date.

uncheck it.

I assume you mean it doesn't appear when you launch the mission?  Remove your mods.  Specifically the SU-30 mod is currently causing that issue.

So I've been having this problem with a lot of missions I have created and mission I have downloaded where only the map comes up, the a/c is there but I can't do anything but watch it on the map...and I also have quite a few mods...so I need to delete all the mods? maybe run one mod at a time?

Removing all your mods is a good starting point to troubleshoot.  As the SU-30 causing the carrier not to appear issue shows, there can be weird interactions that cause problems.  Once you've got it working you can start adding mods back until you find the one that's causing you issues.

For mission you've created, did you set any of the aircraft as PLAYER or CLIENT?  For downloaded, do you own and have installed any of the player flyable aircraft in it?  Otherwise you won't have an aircraft to climb into.

thanks, looks like I need to take out the mods folder

I just removed 14 gigs worth of aircraft I never or rarely use from my MODS folder and volia' my ground units are back. Thanks guy
