Crazy Train

Bug description:

Train runs off track, does 180, returns to track does 180, heads in a direction opposite that which it was originally going.

Steps to reproduce / Conditions of occurence:

Follow a train.

 

PC Configuration:

Vista Ultimate 64bit, EVGA X58 Classified, Geforce 285 2GB, 12GB RAM.

Two mods are installed, one to enhance runway textures and one for rotor sounds. Other than that the game is vanilla.

It will take a good 15 boring minutes to get to the good stuff in this track. It's pretty much pure goofing off with no purpose up to that point. For those that just want to see what happens, watch the youtube vid.

Yup, seen it many times before, but normally trains dont get to live that long when I am flying as I when I see one I automatically go into kill the fuhrer mode and from that moment on all trains are fair game :)

I don't really think it's a bug, simply a "shortcut" for the trains to turn when they reach the end of their route.

while talking trains I would like more info on setting them up. I have had several problems trying to get trains to work. I asked about this before but got few answers.. maybe alike a mini tutorial and setting them up..

I don't think it is possible to set them up from the ME, like with vehicles, at least it was not so in FC. But you can edit the length and speed of the train, I think, through a lua file....
