trying to get mms to move from pilot seat?

hi, i am trying to bind my hotas to move the mms from the pilot seat.

it appears that if you bind the mms up/down/left/right to my collective stick buttons it only works in the copilot seat.

i read where it should work if i just don't bind anything to them from the pilots seat. however it does not. it only works if i'm in the pilot seat.

 

i also was able to bind the mms axis to a hotas cursor, but not any button controls.  i'll need to explain this more.  What i need to do is bind the mms to a button that is on the collective not hotas.  in the VPR software i made my buttons control stick function like a cursor but when i try to bind that to the DCS mms axis it will not find that. so i'm left with using mms up/down/left/right which does not seem to work for me.

 

any ideas?

 

i've almost bound everything to pilot seat so i can just stay there and fly and activate my hellfires. however i need to move the mms around.

Apologies for asking, but you were a little unclear. Did you bind them in the copilot's section? You can bind everything in the pilot section, but then in only works from the pilot seat. The trick is to mix it. Bind copilot stuff in the copilot section, and bind pilot controls in the pilot section. Then it will work from any seat and in MP. I use a HOCAS, but I do also have a Warthog throttle, which I've bound copilot controls on in the copilot section, and then it works from both seats, no issues.

As MAXsenna said, bind it to the copilot section and it should work fine: I have no issues with it, but I do actually switch seats and pretend I have been there for the entire flight.
I did check however and you can indeed use the copilot controls from the pilot seat provided you bound them correctly
