Adjust controls menu freezes my game

As the titles says, this has been happening for as long as the F10 map issue.

Yes, I have disabled hot plugins or whatever it is. 

Every time I go to the adjust controls menu in game it just laggs to hell and more often than not completely freezes DCS and I have to restart my computer. 

What on earth is causing this? I've heard some people say it's the Virpil stuff?

It basically means anytime I play online I'm playing Russian roulette trying to figure out my control bindings.

Are you using Quaggles? If no, try to temporarily rename the config\input folder to input.old, and see if that helps. There are users on this forum that have had success with it, because some older depricated folder is still present in the input folder. If it works better you can either copy the folders back one by one, or import the diff files to the current module you are flying, and they will eventually all be imported.
