EtherealN Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 This is probably where you would have the best odds of success with a thread like this: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=91 First of all, have you eliminated your speakers as a potential cause for the problem? Druid_ Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 ALchemy only works for Windows Vista. Does Black Shark support DirectSound3D ? I'm not sure it does. http://techreport.com/discussions.x/9994 makes for interesting reading. You might need a motherboard BIOS update. http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?url=http://203.211.142.197:80/srvs/cgi-bin/webcgi.exe/,/?st=101,e=0000000000199626474,k=640,sxi=1,varset=ws:http://ae.creative.com,case=26162 try all of these from creatives own troubleshooting site. Have you tried disabling the onboard sound off your motherboard in the BIOS? that would be my first port of call. On control audio control panel make sure you have game mode selected. Also try turning off EAX Effects, X-Fi CMSS-3D and X-Fi crystalizer and enable them one at a time to see if any of those are tripping it. If you are using headphones then make sure in audio control panel that Äutomatically enable headphone settings' box is ticked. If all else fails, take PC into back garden, pour over a litre of the cheapest vodka you can find and set light to it. Not wishing to waste energy, throw a few steaks and kebabs on it to celebrate finally being free of your sound problem. :) Good Luck i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
