My QP eye tracking has suddenly stopped working. When I try to calibrate or switch it on I just get a loading screen and the app crashes. I've tried a factory reset. Currently running v74. Developer mode enabled etc.

Has anyone had an issue like this?

Make sure you have the Meta Horizons app downloaded for your phone and that the "developer" option is enabled (by opening a developer account with Meta, .... absolutely ridiculous). Occasionally, ... and for no reason, ... the app decides to revert back to preset behavior. This happened to me once about two months back. Might be worth a shot. The crazy things about the Quest Pro is that there are not one, ... not two, ... but three places to adjust settings (the Meta Horizons app (phone), the Meta Link software (Windows desktop), and the headset itself (the cliffhouse with waterfalls in the distance)). All three have settings that have to be "on" to get eye tracking rolling.

A wonderful method for appreciating the beauty of the Multiverse is to learn the language in which it was written, ... mathematics.

Thanks. All of those settings were active.

I have managed to find the problem. I had to disable "Fit Adjustment" in the headset settings. Then I could enable eye tracking. The other issue have was that the eye tracking calibration doesn't work properly. It doesn't show any of the focus tracking points so I had to guess. After a frustrating hour I did overed the I just needed to look at the centre then at 9, 12, 3 and 6 before the centre again. Now tracking works ok again.

I have now reverted back to v72. I had accidentally left PTC enabled 🤦‍♂️.

Now eye tracking and calibration work fine.

I have a similar issue.

Im in PTC and update to V.76. Now eye track and calibration works.

In Game I dont get any more the message "no tracking for 60 sec, ...degrading".

Also "fit adjustment" is disabled.

I've just picked up a quest pro and no issues for me with eye tracking. I do not have developer mode enabled. It seems like that's not required anymore.
